Va Béné ? »
It comes from the time of the founder’s grandfather - yes, as far back as that....!
« So he was Italian !? »
No, he was from Sète, but, at that time many Italians had come to Sète to work in the port. He worked with them, and, because he listened to them every day, he started to speak like them.... He finished all his sentences with
« VA BENE ! », strange, no?.... and it’s in his honour that the restaurant was named.

It’s true that we have great pasta both filled and with sauce and excellent thin-crust pizzas , but also a good list of fresh salads -
light or copious with good portions, depending on what you fancy..... For gourmets and big appetites there are
hot and cold starters from sea and land, to be followed by
superb plates of fish or succulent grilled meats,
.........not forgetting our long list of delicious desserts.....
